How this website handles information. Reviewed Oct 12, 2026.
What you give us
Contact and inquiry forms on this site collect your name, email and phone number, the apartment you're interested in, whether you're using a housing voucher (and which program and voucher size), bedrooms needed, budget, move-in date, the borough and neighborhood you want, your yearly household income, your credit score as you tell it to us, the days and times you can come to a showing, and anything you write in the notes. Income, credit and voucher details are used only to match you with apartments you qualify for and to prepare your application; we don't pull your credit report from this form. Lawful source of income, including vouchers, is never a reason we'd turn anyone away. Walkthrough and video tour requests collect the building or listing, neighborhood, apartment size and budget, whether you want a recorded or live video tour, the video app and time you prefer, and contact details (optional for recorded videos, needed for live tours).
Showing requests on listing pages collect your name, email, phone (optional), the times you prefer, and optionally your move-in date, budget and a note. The agent confirms a time by email and you confirm it too.
Please don't send Social Security numbers, ID documents or financial statements through this website.
How it's used and shared
Your details are used to respond to you, arrange showings and suggest apartments. They are stored in this website's database and can be seen only by the agent and authorized staff.
This website doesn't send your details to other software itself. The agent may also receive Jotform submissions in Follow Up Boss, the agent's customer-relationship software.
Everything you send is kept together as one client record in the agent's customer-relationship system on this website, with the apartments you asked about, the agent's notes and follow-up reminders, and the emails and texts exchanged with you, so the agent can follow up.
- Email. Emails are sent from the agent's business mailbox through its email provider. Replies you send to that mailbox are copied into your client record. Marketing emails (including apartment alerts you ask for) always have an unsubscribe link that works without signing in, and include the brokerage's postal address.
- Texts. Texts are sent and received through Twilio, from the agent's business number, only if you tick the text box or text first. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time; START opts back in. There is no bulk texting.
- Apartment alerts go out only if you tick the box, at most about once a week.
- Map search. Map images come from OpenFreeMap (based on OpenStreetMap), so your browser contacts their servers when you open the map. Addresses you type in the map search are looked up through this website using NYC GeoSearch (NYC Department of City Planning); they aren't stored. “Use my location” asks your browser for your location only when you tap it, uses it to move the map, and doesn't store it.
Your information may be shared with BOND New York as the agent's brokerage (its own website has a separate privacy policy), and with the landlord, manager or listing broker of an apartment you ask about so a showing can be arranged. This website doesn't sell personal information.
Analytics
The site counts page views, which listing IDs are viewed or searched, walkthrough plays, showing-button clicks, the campaign tags in the link you followed, the referring website's domain and whether you're on a phone, tablet or computer. These records don't contain your name, email, phone number or IP address. If you allow analytics cookies, a random visitor ID is added so visits can be counted once.
Cookies and similar storage
at_consent: remembers your cookie choice (180 days).at_vid: random analytics visitor ID, only if you allow analytics (1 year).- Session storage
at_attr: the campaign that brought you here, kept until you close the tab and used to fill in the showing form. - Local storage
at_renter: when “Remember my details on this device” is ticked (it is unless you untick it). Your answers (name, email, phone, voucher details, bedrooms, budget, move-in date, borough and neighborhood, income, credit score and availability) are kept in your browser for 90 days so you don't have to retype them. They aren't sent anywhere until you submit a form. Use “Forget my saved details” on any form, or clear your browser data, to remove them. at_previewandat_session: used only by reviewers and staff who sign in.
Some features load content from other companies, which may set their own cookies when you use them: walkthrough videos from YouTube (only after you press play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain).
Security and technical data
Your IP address is used briefly to limit abusive form submissions. The hosting provider may record technical request information, such as IP addresses, in server logs.
Your privacy choices
This website does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can turn analytics cookies off at any time on the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, and a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is honored automatically.
Keeping and deleting your information
Inquiries are kept until they are deleted. To ask for your information to be deleted from this website, email jgonzalez@bondnewyork.com. Deleting your record also deletes your messages, notes and alert history here. Copies held by the email or text provider are deleted separately on request.
